Raoul and the Wild Tortillas with Coro San Benildo

It was such a wonderful evening every one! Thank you CSB students, faculty, staff and crew for the awesome night! We were hit by a rotating brownout in Metro Manila right in the middle of the show but it turned out very well because of you guys! The lights coming from your phones were so beautiful and of course thank you for staying and supporting us. It was really really humbling. Coro San Benildo are a talented bunch. And we all believe that you students are all talented as well. Give your best in your studies, we know you all have a bright future! See you again!

Travelling to Iloilo for Experience Western Visayas Anniversary!

Finally it happened! We were so excited for this trip to Iloilo! Thank you to Miss Elma and of course Regional Director Helen Catalbas for giving us a wonderful opportunity to play for this cause! All of us were so excited. The band arrived very much earlier than the usual at the airport haha. I guess this means so much to them and to me of course.

After an hour, we already arrived at Iloilo International Airport! The Wild Tortillas were flattered by the DOT’s warm welcome to us. They gave us this pearl necklace with ‘Department of Tourism’ in it.

Every one of us enjoyed Tatoy’s Manokan and Seafoods near the airport. Almost every one in the band arrived very early in NAIA so were so hungry when we land in Iloilo. Much to our delight, they served us seafoods! Who doesn’t love seafood!

It was already late when we start our tour in Iloilo so we didn’t have enough chance to take pictures. We immediately went for our dinner and then rehearsal at midnight! We had a very hectic schedule there.

And of course my favorite part and the reason why I go places aside from being a diplomat, performing! It was an amazing experience to be able to adapt my song Its More Fun in the Philippines into Its More Fun in Western Visayas. Thank you for the wonderful people.
